![]() ![]() It's a bit infuriating.I’ve always found the Warchanter to be a bit weird to be honest. Indeed, the double one dodge roll is pretty much the only way to "defeat" a skilled Elf coach. How many dodges will you make during the drive as the dwarves push forward? Enough that you will likely see a 1 followed by a 1 more than you'd like. You have a one in 36 chance of getting the double ones, higher if you run out of team rerolls. Then the dwarf player gets a turn with multiple hits on squishy elves and things go really wrong. What actually ends up happening is you dodge away, roll a 1, team reroll (no dodge skill against dwarf tacklers) and roll another 1. Basically the dwarf player will push forward that one square a turn, hitting your players once or so a turn and then one turn 8 breaking through the last few squares to try to run the ball in. Like with 40k boxes trading out half the sets is an option.ġ2/16 linemen (probabily paint 6-8, you'll never use them all!) However to make a expanded flexible team, it almost requires us to buy two core sets! unless they have team boosters available. While the number of guys in the starter is pretty good. The number of guys in the BloodBowl starter set is pretty good.Ħ Linemen is probably enough although 8 would be better. So I can build bashy getting up to a full set of 4 black orcs and 4 blitzers! My Orc team has 21 players to choose from!Ĥ Black orcs, 4 Blitzers, 7 Linemen, 1 Chucker a Troll and 4 Goblins Without the need to dash off and get the new guys painted. So when your team wins and makes money you can pick a choose more player to build your team, depending on how the other teams are doing. Once a league starts you'll have all positional options covered. When painting up a team you wanna over kill your options. Rumble in the jungle, Lizards and Amazon. Two teams and some stuff, If the extra content is good enough, most leagues will adopt all new content and players will need to buy the sets to have access to the new random tables, new inducements, new tokens, new templates etc.Ĭhaos Cup - Chaos team and/or Nurgle team I think GW could sell regular £50-£70 expansion packs. So resin sales are poor and plastic never happens! If popular resin teams are remade in plastic people might think I'll wait it out for the cheaper/better plastic release. I can see another problem with the rumoured test the water system. Imagine having to hobby 12 finecast framesĪ full roster of 16 might end up past £150 The danger of resin releases will be price and the finecast quality stigma. ![]() GW won't want to leave big gaps in the market for 3rd party teams. While we can always convert WHFB figures until teams are released, ![]() In another league my Vampire are running all pistons banging and are top of the table after 3 games. My Vampires are about to play the #1 Lizardmen with 500 something in inducements!īut As I joked to my opponent "Wizards, Chainsaws and bribes oh my!" I'm not worried about the Team Value difference. I'm bottom of the bracket in one local league going into game nine, I've suffered something like 5 deaths! Inducements allow these teams to play a league game and the underdog gets help. Other teams are losing and players have died. Some teams are winning, players are ranking up skills and all that gold is buying extra players guys. Inducements IMO are more about equalling out league games. It's ruleset is water tight! It's Team are characterful yet finely tuned.Īny 1,000,000 gold starting team has a fair chance of beating any other IMO However Blood Bowl is also one of the most balanced games in existence! I agree with your sentiment, it is a beer and dice game! (who the feth eats pretzels!) The_scotsman wrote: Simple question: Is it your game? the 3 copies at my house are. ![]()
